Using scrcpy (recommended, for the technically inclined)¶
srcpy mirrors Android devices (video and audio) connected via USB or TCP/IP and allows control using the computer's keyboard and mouse.
It does not require root access or an app installed on the device. It works on Linux, Windows, and macOS.
It is open source and has many useful features.
Using Android Studio¶
Android Studio is the official development tool for Android. It helps developers build Android apps and includes an emulator that can be used to run ODK Collect on a desktop.
